Ganga Viewing Gallery, Varanasi
Sandstone Carved Panoramic Viewing Platform.
Ganga Viewing Gallery is a part of the Vishwanath Corridor Project. The plan is to create easily accessible pathway connecting the historic Kashi Vishwanath temple to the banks of the River Ganga. Spanning 5 lakh square feet, it includes the magnificent Ganga View Gallery, an 80-meter long and 11-meter wide platform offering panoramic views of the Ghats. This gallery was made possible by demolishing dilapidated buildings and has become a significant attraction. The project, constructed with a budget of Rs. 339 crores, had its foundation stone laid in 2019 and was inaugurated in 2023 by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
