A long-held desire to visit a vineyard was finally realised when I travelled about 100 kilometres from Nashik to Saputara and visited one of Nashik's 29 wineries named after the Sapta Shrungi's seven visible peaks, known as the 7-Peaks. We got a closer look at the vineyard and the winery in the wonderful February weather, with the promoter Sandeep explaining the process step by step.
